Luke and Anna Tanis

Both of us were raised in ministry families, and our parents were integral in both of us getting saved. We both graduated from Bible college, and Luke continued to earn his MDiv in 2018. During his 4 years at seminary, we loved serving in many ways at our local church, now our sending church.

Although we both felt called to full-time ministry during grade school, It wasn’t until a trip to Africa with a seminary professor in 2016 that we knew God was specifically calling us to Global Gospel ministry.

After fervently praying for God’s direction in what specific country, we connected with BMM, who gave us several fields that need more coworkers in the Gospel. We were so excited to hear of the strategic location of Malta, near Africa, Europe and the Middle East, and of the many Gospel opportunities available there.

After a trip in 2018 and 2019, God has made it clear that He has uniquely equipped and specifically burdened us for the ministry in Malta. Our hearts are filled with joy and thanksgiving at the opportunity to minister in Malta.
