Brian and Eva Seymour

Brian and Eva Seymour started their first term of service with Campus Bible Fellowship at Indiana University of South Bend, South Bend, IN, in October 2025.

Brian is a fourth generation missionary with Baptist Mid Missions with all of the previous generations serving in Chad, Africa. And yet, at the age of 6, Brian realized he was a sinner and his mother showed him how to turn to Christ in repentance. At 13, Brian left Africa due to health issues and struggled to see God's plan in that move for a long time. This disappointment turned into bitterness that caused Brian to ask God to leave him alone after completing several years of Piedmont Bible College. God used a friend in his life and a book called, "Disappointment with God" by Phillip Yancey to bring him back to Himself. Brian surrendered his life to the Lord. It was a couple years later he met and married me, Eva Nicodemus. God has blessed us with 4 children Isobel(2014), Cosette(2016), Eliana(2018), and Liam(2021).

I also grew up in a missionary family (Nic and Joanne Nicodemus) in Venezuela, S.A. My mother led me to salvation at 4-years-old during family devotions. I surrendered to serve God as a full-time missionary at a Baptist Mid Missions conference, as well as, being heavily influenced by, "The Triumph of John and Betty Stam". I studied Bible and Missions at Emmanuel Baptist Bible Institute, Moncton, NB, Canada, and Elementary Education at International Baptist College and Seminary in Chandler, AZ. As a couple we served in our local church until Brian was challenged to pray Matthew 9:38 at 9:38 AM at the 2021 Baptist Mid Missions conference. Praying daily while driving for Uber, God burdened him to do more. We asked Baptist Mid Missions where we could be used and they felt our skill set would work well in Campus Bible Fellowship. We realized Brian enjoyed teaching Bible studies and one-on-one discipleship and we both love hospitality. We followed God's leading to serve with Campus Bible Fellowship until God shows us differently. After two years of deputation we are thrilled to start our first term of service. What a dream come true it is to be having Bible studies with college students and learning all we can from Steve & Charlene Giegerich who have spent the last 33 years serving with Campus Bible Fellowship in South Bend, IN.
