This Changes Everything

On more than one occasion you have probably said, “This changes everything!” Perhaps it was in reference to a major or memorable event in your life. It might have been in connection with something tragic that happened. Whatever it may have been, “this” radically changed your life or the life of someone dear to you. 

The greatest life-changing event in the heart of any person is the moment they turn to Christ with repentant faith for eternal salvation. A person’s eternal destiny is changed. Their spiritual identity is changed. Their nature is changed, along with their view of life. Their family is changed. And certainly their lifestyle is changed. 

While the gospel changes individual lives, it also has the power to change entire communities, regions, and nations as more and more people come to Christ and live out their life-transforming faith. This is the amazing work that your missionaries participate in all over the world. Can you imagine the joy of being on the frontlines of this kind of life transformation?
