Did you know that Baptist Mid-Missions has a birthday? Celebrate it with us on our annual World Day of Prayer. We got our start on October 15, 1920, and every year on that day (or the closest work day) we join with our missionaries, staff members, and friends of BMM to cover our worldwide ministries in prayer. Be a part of the celebration wherever you are.
This year, our special focus is Amplify, part of our strategic vision for missions. We are asking God to strengthen our efforts to mobilize new missionaries, expand our prayer network, and increase the effectiveness of our communications so more people can hear and respond to His call. Here’s how you can join us in prayer throughout the day:
October 15 prayer schedule:
9:00–10:00 AM — Amplify
Pray for greater effectiveness in missions mobilization and communication. Ask God to raise up more prayer partners, expand digital outreach, and give missionaries boldness to share their stories.
12:00–1:00 PM — Enlist
Pray for God to call 20 new missionaries each year by 2030. Ask Him to stir hearts, remove obstacles, and build strong connections with churches and potential missionaries.
3:00–4:00 PM — Equip
Pray that missionaries and churches will be well trained and cared for. Ask God to strengthen pre-field preparation, provide ongoing support, and equip churches for renewal and growth.
6:00–7:00 PM — Expand
Pray for the opening of five new fields or ministries by 2030. Ask God to guide research, prepare teams, and open doors among underreached peoples.
