BMM 100 Years: Introducing our new logo

Advancing the Gospel Worldwide. It’s what Baptist Mid-Missions has been doing for 100 years. Our experience has taught us that advancement won’t happen if we don’t change and flex to meet the needs of our times. That’s why, in our 100th anniversary year, we refreshed our look to show our readiness to meet the challenge of missions in our changing world. 

Although our look is new, at our core, Baptist Mid-Missions firmly stands on the same principles we were founded upon. We chose a look that reflects both our unchanging biblical foundation and our forward-thinking drive to advance the gospel worldwide. 

The message of our logo

We packed our new logo with symbolism representing who we are. Find the cross fixed centrally in each logo variation. The arrows represent supporting churches and individuals, missionaries, and Baptist Mid-Missions united in our focus on Christ and the message of His cross. Light appears to emanate from the cross—the light of the gospel—as it goes out into the world, illustrated by the logo’s globe shape. The eight notches within the arrows remind us of our eight core values (see www.bmm.org/about/our-mission). The new logo’s shape even gives a nod to our original 1920 logo, tying it into our 100 years of ministry. Starting this year, look for our updated logo on materials and communications from Baptist Mid-Missions, including our new website scheduled to debut in the coming months.

The most important things about us haven’t changed, and one of the most important is that we remain poised to advance the gospel worldwide now and into the future.
