Advance Weekend 2019
Published: May 22, 2019

On September 27–28, 2019, Baptist Mid-Missions will host its second Advance Weekend, a free, informative two-day seminar that will equip you with tools for missions involvement.

Although the seminar is geared toward college students and young adults, anyone interested in missions service can benefit. This year’s focus of Creative Access Nations features a missionary speaker seasoned in the challenges and opportunities faced in this ministry context. On Friday evening and Saturday morning, he will discuss practical and theoretical issues surrounding ministry in regions where Christianity is heavily monitored and oppressed.

The weekend will also connect attendees to missions opportunities and initiatives through BMM and will provide answers to missions questions. We will accomplish this through informal interaction and panel-type discussions with BMM field administrators serving all regions of the globe.

We are hosting the Advance Weekend at our Ministry Training Center at the Baptist Mid-Missions Home Office in Cleveland, Ohio.  The seminar will start with supper on Friday evening and conclude after lunch on Saturday

One of the best things about the seminar is that it’s free! We will provide housing and meals; attendees provide only transportation to Cleveland.
