Jonathan and Hannah Romaine

Romaine Family 2021

We were both raised in military, Christian homes where we heard and accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ at young ages through the influence of our parents. Hannah received her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science with a Bible Minor from Cedarville University. While there, she was involved in children’s ministries, campus discipleship ministries, and took short-term mission trips to Bangladesh and Kosovo.

After high school, I (Jonathan) served six years in the Air Force. I was part of the security team for the presidential flying fleet and served at the Pentagon with the Joint Chiefs of Staff. During my travels around the world and while at home attending Fellowship Baptist Church, I began growing in my Christian walk by studying the Bible and my involvement in local church ministry. The Lord began to open my eyes to the great need for sound national churches abroad. In a step of obedience, I surrendered to full time missions, left the Air Force, and pursued biblical instruction at Piedmont Baptist College, later completing a Masters Degree from Virginia Beach Theological Seminary.

It was passion for serving God and sharing the gospel that ultimately drew us together. We were married in 2007 and have been serving in Spain since 2014. We currently minister along with Caleb and Sarah Burdett, planting a church in Logroño. We have 3 children: Addaline (2011), Ian (2014) and Mina (2016).
