Joel and Sarah W.

Both of us were raised in godly families and accepted Christ at young ages; in 2003 we met at Northland Baptist Bible College. Joel was praying toward missions and heard Glenn Kerr speak about Bible translation work with Bibles International. Joel traveled to Southeast Asia in 2005 and felt confirmation of God’s leading to help strengthen the believers and enable them to evangelize and disciple their people. After Joel completed an M.Div. in Exegesis and Linguistics from BJU, we joined BI/BMM in 2012, being sent from Cornerstone Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. In 2015 we were approved to open a new field in Southeast Asia and move our family of five children to the capital city. We praise the Lord that we can see a great hunger for God’s Word in Asia, which is producing a glorious inheritance among the saints from many tribes and languages, peoples and nations!
