Have you ever had someone tell you they were praying that you would become a missionary someday? That moment encouraged me to pursue an experience that changed my life’s direction! I spent a summer working alongside missionaries in Kenora, Ontario, among the Ojibway people. Those weeks were a climax of events that led me to full-time missionary service with Baptist Mid-Missions among the First Nations people of Canada.
As a church-planting assistant my heart was thrilled at any chance to teach God’s Word whether at church, camp, around the kitchen table or even over a cup of coffee! For the past 6 years I have stayed the course in ministry, helping at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Regina, Saskatchewan. God continues to surround me with First Nations people as well as those from others parts of the world. What a blessing to reach all peoples with the good news of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, Saviour, Shepherd and Friend!
