Anna Plorins

Plorins Anna

My desire for missions began when I was a young child. I remember praying for missionaries after pulling their prayer cards out of a tin can in Sunday School. Through trips abroad and my education at Faith Baptist Bible College, God continued to guide me toward missions. I have worked as a nurse in a hospital for over five years, and I am now a Family Nurse Practitioner. Working in the medical field has provided many opportunities for evangelism and discipleship.

I plan to serve at Iglesia Bautista Romana (Romana Baptist Church) in the Dominican Republic. This church has expressed interest in forming a medical team for community outreach. I would also provide medical care for the kids at the Hogar Betesda (Bethesda Home) boys home, a ministry of this local church. Additionally, I plan to teach a health class at the seminary. I also look forward to discipling younger girls in the church, just as I have loved doing at my sending church. I am excited to glorify God through evangelism and discipleship in the Dominican Republic.
