Ryan and Amparo P.

I was raised in a Christian home and came to Christ at a young age. The Lord gave me a love for the Word as a youth, and He continued to increase my zeal for knowing and understanding the Word of God through my years of Bible training. While in seminary, the Lord led me to marry Amparo in 2006. She was born in Colombia but raised in the US where she came to know the Lord at age 16. While attending Bible college, she surrendered her life to serve the Lord and gained a greater vision for missions. In 2014, the Lord began showing His will for me to minister in Bible translation, and in 2019 we joined BMM and the BI team. As we consider that more than 4,000 people groups in the world have no Scripture in their language, God is compelling us to go to SE Asia. Our family is excited to follow Him in equipping His church to fulfill His commission through His Word.
