God used several different influences in my life to direct me towards missions as a young person. My church, my older sister, and eventually my Bible college all helped build in me this interest in missions. I studied Greek and Hebrew in college, but it was during a linguistics class in graduate school that God worked in my heart to lead me into Bible translation work. In late 2018, I moved to Southeast Asia to work as a Bible translation consultant with some minority people groups. These are groups that do not yet have a reliable Bible translation in their language. It is a privilege to work with believers and churches in Southeast Asia to help them bring the Word of God to their people.
