Bryan and Amy Lenartz

Lenartz 2024

For the last thirteen years, Bryan, Amy and their children have served at Harvest Baptist Church on the island of Guam. While there, Bryan held the role of Assistant Pastor overseeing adult education, evangelism, events, and church assimilation. Amy worked part time in the community as a Physician Assistant in cardiology.

While serving in Guam, God began to stir a passion in both the hearts of Bryan and Amy for the great need in Japan. As Guam is so multi-cultural, it allowed Bryan to begin working on the language and Amy began working with Japanese women at an ESL ministry. They also began fellowshipping and reaching out to the local Japanese community.

Bryan and Amy left Guam and started deputation in February 2023. While on deputation, Bryan also helped churches by holding seminars on the topic of guest services, retainment, and church assimilation. His book Jump on the Fish is available for those burdened to grow in caring for first time guests.

Bryan was raised in southeastern Wisconsin and was discipled by his youth pastor and now missionary John Zimmer (Palau). While on Island he was able to work with his former youth pastor John Zimmer by teaching Palauans, hermeneutics and homiletics at Harvest Baptist Bible College a ministry of Harvest in Guam.

Amy and Bryan have four kids – Eliane, Hannah, Selah, and Carson
