Since 2015 we had the privilege of seeing a new church begin, grow, and develop in Eichstätt, Germany, a city of 15,000 that previously had no gospel witness. We were asked to come in a supportive role, as the mother church in Ingolstadt (a BMM church plant, now indigenous) sent out a young core group, including a pastor and deacon, for the new work.
Our responsibilities included directing the children's work, training new workers, reaching out to refugees, caring for older visitors, and serving through hospitality and discipleship. More churches like this are needed throughout Germany, since there are still locations where there are no solid Bible-believing churches within a 30- to 45-minute drive.
