At the age of 12, I realized my need for a Savior after my dad preached a sermon on salvation. Missions was not initially on my radar. Instead, from a young age, I dreamed of becoming an archaeologist and professor of history. While I was attending Maranatha Baptist University to pursue a degree in social studies education and Spanish, the Lord guided me to participate in the Arriba program. This life-changing ministry year introduced me to The Foundations Museum—a creation museum in the Peruvian mountains started by BMM missionary Bob Whatley. Upon returning to the United States, the Lord continued burdening me for the mountain ministry and the Peruvian people.
I am excited to return to help further develop the Creation Museum, creating a unique avenue of evangelism and a doctrinally sound resource for believers. Additionally, I am excited to minister in the Bible Seminary and surrounding church plants, evangelizing the lost and discipling new believers, bringing the hope and trustworthiness of the gospel to this beautiful culture.
