Your Global Impact

A Gift of Encouragement

Encouragement. It’s essential for spiritual vitality, as Paul intentionally reminds the Thessalonians:

“Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing … encourage the fainthearted…” (1 Thessalonians 5:11, 14).

Like all of us, missionaries need encouragement. They are sustained first by their relationship with God.  Rooted and grounded in the Word and a daily walk with Christ, they find a wellspring of motivation for years of ministry.  They give and receive support from their fellow missionaries on the field and are lifted up by their partners back home.

You are also a critical source of encouragement.

Excerpt from a missionary’s recent prayer letter

The missionaries at Baptist Mid-Missions receive invaluable support and encouragement from the staff at the GMC. These wonderful servants of the Lord help missionaries by managing donations, taxes, health insurance, and retirement planning. They also offer media services, counseling, crisis management, and a range of other support ministries.

Baptist Mid-Missions firmly believes that missionaries are sent out and held accountable by their local churches, but the GMC facilitates the meeting of the many practical needs of missionaries. I am so thankful to be a part of this faithful organization.”

Whether in prayer, through thoughtful correspondence, or in showing hospitality on their furloughs, your partnership makes a difference. Your encouragement is that difference!

Consider, also, gifts to the Global Impact Fund. Your gifts provide, among other things, a wide array of vital services to the entire mission family through the work of the Global Ministry Center (GMC).  The result?  Greater capacity for advancing the gospel around the world.

Encouragement. That’s precisely what your gifts to the Global Impact Fund provide.  Might today be the right time for you to provide this encouragement?

What Will Your Legacy Be?

Respond by March 31, 2026

Consider the surge of gospel ministry that a planned (or future) gift would create if it’s devoted to the Lord’s work. As you consider the legacy you’d like to leave with your assets, one way to store up treasure in heaven is to join Baptist Mid-Missions’ Legacy Challenge. As an added bonus, your Legacy Challenge gift will trigger a $500 matching gift that will impact the Great Commission even further. What will your legacy be?
