A Gift of Encouragement

Encouragement. It’s essential for spiritual vitality, as Paul intentionally reminds the Thessalonians:

“Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing … encourage the fainthearted…” (1 Thessalonians 5:11, 14).

Like all of us, missionaries need encouragement. They are sustained first by their relationship with God. Rooted and grounded in the Word and a daily walk with Christ, they find a wellspring of motivation for years of ministry. They give and receive support from their fellow missionaries on the field and are lifted up by their partners back home.

The missionaries at Baptist Mid-Missions receive invaluable support and encouragement from the staff at the GMC. These wonderful servants of the Lord help missionaries by managing donations, taxes, health insurance, and retirement planning.
