Ken and Linda looked at the clock and waited for their Zoom meeting with BMM’s Global Ministry Center. It was evening in Europe, but the day was dawning in Cleveland. As the connection stabilized, their smiling faces appeared on a large screen high on the wall of the ministry training center where a camera captured the office workers gathering for their prayer meeting. They greeted and waved to familiar friends across the ocean.
As the meeting began, together they read aloud a passage of Scripture before Ken shared an update on their ministry. Linda looked at the faces of their Ohio-based support team while Ken spoke. She saw people who spent their lives in service: a medical team, workers who managed their health insurance and benefits, others who handled international wire transfers and banking matters.
She saw the field administrators who served a global missionary family. She saw members of the accounting department who cared for all the details related to ministry gifts. The tax team was there on the screen. Linda could not imagine doing their own taxes, let alone those for the entire mission family. Her heart was touched by the ministries of the Global Ministry Center.
Later Ken and Linda shared prayer requests, and someone on the screen in Ohio lifted their voice in prayer to the Lord. As they closed the meeting, Linda said, “I don’t know how we could do what the Lord has called us to do in this ministry without a team like you in Cleveland. Thank you for all you do for us.” Back in Cleveland, the feeling was mirrored in the hearts of those who could not carry on without the missionaries doing what God had called them to do. They were a single team committed to accelerating the spread of the gospel to those who have yet to hear of Jesus, their Savior.

It's easy to feel worn out by suffering people's needs. But incredibly, our God carries the weight of concern for each of them.
Your gifts to World Relief are needed as much as ever to help our missionaries and trusted contacts deliver relief to the hurting people of India, an Asian Creative Access Nation, Ukraine, and Turkey-Syria.
