Your Global Impact

Optimism is in the air when BMM’s candidate seminar concludes and new missionaries prepare for a season of deputation and then go to the place where the Lord has called them. In many ways, they are reminded that they do not go alone.

They are emboldened by the Lord’s Great Commission promise:

“…and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” The presence of Jesus Christ will mark their lives as He works through them, reaching souls and redeeming the lost.

They are embraced by their church family, who send them out, but who also “go with” them in the enduring bonds of care. Their church will labor in prayer for them, give to their needs, and yearn to see God bless their ministry.

They are encouraged by the Global Ministry Center staff who counsel, care, and help guide them. Through the work of our staff, they are free from necessary but distracting duties that dissipate energy and time from ministry. Tasks like receiving gifts and issuing receipts to their financial partners—our accounting department cares for those details. The tax department takes on the time-consuming task of staying current on the ever-changing tax code and preparing their returns. The missionary services team cares for everything from their finance questions to their deeper personal and spiritual needs and provides guidance for their ministry teams. The staff handles international wire transactions, banking matters, and even the management of their health insurance and benefit plans.

You are essential. As they set out for ministry, BMM missionaries are led by the Lord, supported by their churches, and backed by the ministry labors of Baptist Mid-Missions staff. You enter into their ministries with gifts to the Global Impact Fund that provide those services and free them to accelerate the spread of the Gospel. Your partnership is essential. Please prayerfully consider giving your best gift today.

A Heart for God

Missions is not a very popular thing to do with your life in today’s culture. But then, it never has been. It takes a heart for God, a willing heart that’s ready to listen to God’s call.
