Don and LeAnne Waite did not expect that their church-planting ministry in Slovakia would expose them to the ravages of war, but the sudden flood of Ukrainian refugees pouring into Slovakia and neighboring countries changed everything overnight. The refugees needed the love of Christ, and the Waites were prepared to respond: “God has placed us here, and this is where we need to be. Pray for wisdom as we work with both the Slovak and Ukrainian people…. People here are concerned … but as believers we can see that God is in control.”
How do you prepare for events that are unimaginable? A vibrant union with Christ, coupled with preparation and training, equips missionaries to respond with faith to the unexpected. That’s why BMM provides initial training for new missionaries to lay that foundation, and the ongoing support from mission administrators and other missionaries provides guidance during crises.
Your gifts to the Global Impact Fund provide this foundational training and continuing support that help prepare our mission family for service in an uncertain world.
With a gift annuity, you receive a double benefit: impacting missions and receiving lifelong income.
For a brochure or a specific illustration, call, email, or visit giftplanning.bmm.org.
Gift annuities are available to residents of most US states.
Through BMM Foundation’s Memorial Fund, you can give a lasting legacy by donating in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special occasion. Gifts made to the Memorial Fund are invested and are used to provide services to missionaries, churches, and ministry partners.
