Missions Vision

Vision is the ability to see clearly through the fog of status quo, misplaced priorities, cultural influences, and overwhelming obstacles. For Baptist Mid-Missions, this means we must clearly see the past and present while envisioning what God is burdening us to do in the future. Such vision grips our hearts to the point that it no longer seems as if something could be done, but that it must be done, driving us to sacrificial and radical obedience.

AMPLIFY is BMM’s strategic vision for expanding the gospel’s impact. It is a clarion call to all who serve with and support this ministry.

We believe God wants us to amplify our efforts in three ways.

Enlist—Mobilize 20 new missionaries per year. The need for more missionaries to reach the over eight billion souls on planet earth cannot be overstated.

Equip—Help the mission family and supporting churches to excel and grow. We want to renew our efforts to assure that our missionaries are well-equipped to do their best in God’s harvest field. In addition, BMM aspires to do more to serve local churches through healthy renewal and equipping. Local churches that are fulfilling the Great Commission locally are far more likely to send missionaries to fulfill the Great Commission globally.

Expand—Pioneer 5 new fields or ministries. One in four people today have no gospel witness. Entire nations and people groups go unreached or underreached. BMM will strive to open five new nations, communities, or people groups, while engaging with those God will lead to go to such places.
