If you had to cut down a tree, would you rather have a chainsaw or a pocket knife? And would you rather have a sharp blade or one that’s dull?
When you need to accomplish something, the right equipment makes all the difference. In missions, people can do far more, and they can do their job better, when they are equipped with quality training and resources. That translates into greater effectiveness and longevity on their fields.
For decades, BMM has offered custom training to give new missionaries the tools they need to thrive in their ministries. We also partner with other ministries that offer specialized prefield training in language acquisition and cultural adjustments. Through BMM’s strategic vision, we will amplify what we offer to make it more relevant and comprehensive. This will include Personal Development Plans for incoming missionaries, along with enhanced training and member care for veteran missionaries. For sending and supporting churches, we envision healthy-church renewal resources as well as new venues for churches to learn about missions opportunities through BMM.

When Jesus gave the Great Commission, the command was open-ended. Starting locally, the gospel was to be amplified like waves pulsing outward until they reached the ends of the earth.
Easily accessible areas of the world were the first to receive Bibles. Now Bible translators have to reach further into the uttermost parts of the earth. And as they do, ministry expands even farther.
