Special health and family needs for Jesse and Lisa Armstrong

The Armstrong family had been church planting in Irkutsk, Russia, until March 2007, when Jesse was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). The family has since moved back to Washington State, and Jesse has received treatments to help slow the progress of the disease. However, the situation remains a serious matter for prayer.

In answer to prayer, God has provided for the family through gifts and through volunteers helping the Armstrongs with physical needs. The family has been able to purchase a van with a wheelchair lift, and Jesse has had opportunities to share the gospel with other patients and medical staff during his treatments.

When praying for Jesse and Lisa, please also remember the needs of the Armstrongs’ four sons, ages 6 to 15, along with Lisa’s mother, who is helping with care.
