How are Baptist Mid-Missions and its missionaries funded?
Baptist Mid-Missions operates under “faith” principles of finances. Missionaries trust God to supply the need for support, equipment, passage, and all ministry expenses. As God provides through committed support from churches and individuals, the missionary is given clearance for the field.
While we make no financial guarantees whatever to our missionaries, all gifts designated for missionary work or field projects are used exactly as directed by the donors. Our missionaries include support for the Home Office as a ministry expense line item in their support estimate. Supporting churches are encouraged to give an additional 10 percent to cover expenses of the Baptist Mid-Missions Missionary Services Fund.
